Mentioned below are the 4 parts of the OET Examination.

Mentioned below are four different categories of OET exams. 

• OET Listening: This section has two parts. In Part A, the aspirant must listen to a conversation between a patient and a professional and take notes of that interaction. In Part B, you will hear a lecture from one person. Then, you will be requested to answer questions in the form of multiple choices about what you have heard.
• OET Reading: This section is also in 2 parts. Part A is 15 minutes duration and needs the aspirant to see 3 or 4 passages. Then, the aspirant will be given a paragraph summarizing the text with words removed. Again, you must use your skills to fill in these blanks. Part B is 45 minutes duration, and the aspirant will need to read passages related to common healthcare topics and answer multiple choices.
• OET Writing: This section is necessarily an imitation of certified encounters precise to an occupation. The aspirant has 45 minutes to write professional correspondence. This can generally take the form of a letter of referral, but other jobs might contain a letter of release or expert advice.
• OET Speaking: This section is done with the support of an interviewer. The aspirant must display a blend of professional expertise and interpersonal skills to deal with the circumstances.

For each OET exam, the scores are calculated out of 500 and converted to grades. 

The OET results will be published in approximately 25 business days. A statement of results will also be received 10 days after online publication. The statement of results will present your grade, with A being the highest and E the lowest for each of the four sub-tests

It usually depends on the regulatory body, or organisation to which you are submitting your test results. Generally, OET results are valid for 2 years but there are some organisations that may accept OET test results that are more than 2 years old. 

You can retake the test by registering before the closing date. There is no grace period imposed for the next test. However, you have to reappear for all four sub-tests.
